Van Vugt, L

Lynn van Vugt is Research Leader at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University. She obtained her PhD in 2023 called “Different NEETs, different needs? Explaining why vulnerable young people are more likely to become NEET”. Currently, she is mainly involved in ‘Nationaal Cohortonderzoek Onderwijs’ (www.nationaalcohortonderzoek.nl) and ‘OnderwijsMonitor Limburg’.

Before she started working at ROA, she completed the International Double-degree Master Sociology & Population Studies. This included the Research Master Sociology & Demography (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and the Master of Science in Sociology (Tilburg University). She extended her Master’s degree by doing an internship at the Dutch Inspectorate of Education.
