ROA frequently publishes job vacancies on this website. For candidates interested in policy research we usually require a Master degree in Economics, Sociology, Econometrics or a related area, an excellent command of the Dutch language and the ability to work in teams.

In order to qualify for a PhD position, candidates must have successfully completed a (Research) Master degree in a relevant area or should complete such a degree within the next months. PhD candidates should have excellent research and statistical skills. The working language for PhD candidates is English. Internship

Are you a student interested in doing academic research in one of ROA’ research fields? We offer academic support for your research by experienced and dedicated staff members. We supervise BSc and MSc thesis projects (in cooperation with your department). For internships and UM’s Thesis Internship Programme (TIP), we offer a remuneration conform Dutch University standards.
