Stef Hendrikx is a Junior Researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA). He is from Lommel, located in the north of Belgian Limburg. In the summer of 2020, he obtained his Master's degree in Business Economics at the Free University of Brussels. Before that he obtained his bachelor at Hasselt University. From a young age, he has been passionate about sports. This passion made writing his thesis, in which he investigated the relationship between competitive balance and spectator numbers in Belgian soccer, very enjoyable. At ROA, he hopes to be able to contribute his social part to socio-economic issues. Currently he is involved as a researcher at the Netherlands Cohort Study on Education (in Dutch abbreviated as Nationaal Cohortonderzoek Onderwijs [NCO])
